Victoria just might want a non-family member to talk to about Claire’s case. Perhaps Victoria wants Nate’s opinion or recommendations. In any case, Nate’s decision could negatively affect his family and career in unexpected ways.
Michael Baldwin’s Controversial Case
Y&R spoilers reveal that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) met with Claire and heard her story about Jordan (Colleen Zenk). Michael decided to take Claire’s case and declared the young woman needs psychiatric care, not prison.
As Michael figures out how to best defend Claire, Victoria and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) are grappling with the entire situation. For one thing, Jordan is still on the loose and playing mind games with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
Jordan also received an alert on herself, so she plans on calling the anonymous tip line to leave some false information.
Y&R Spoilers: Cole Howard’s Observation
During a recent episode, Cole watched Victoria and Nate from afar. Cole had just gotten back from Oregon to obtain Claire’s toothbrush for DNA testing.
Cole clearly didn’t want to interrupt Victoria’s conversation with Nate. It was a brief chat, but it was also awkward. It’s clear that Victoria misses Nate. However, Nate is still being distant with Victoria.
The fact that Cole saw Victoria’s interaction with Nate might lead him to ask questions about the former surgeon. Although Nate is no longer in the medical field, he could serve as a consultant or even be a sounding board for Victoria.
During this Claire storyline, Victoria will probably be at war with Nikki and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Victoria will need someone she can trust to talk to as she deals with the fallout from Claire and Jordan’s scheme.
Nate Hastings’ Medical Temptation
The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Victoria could turn to Nate for advice. Even though Nate ended the romance after his termination from Newman Enterprises, he still cares about Victoria.
So, when Nate learns about the Oregon lakehouse hostage situation, he will be concerned. Victoria might use the opportunity to open up about her conflicting feelings regarding Claire.
If Victoria is serious about having a future relationship with Claire – provided she is sane – it will be very bumpy. So, Victoria might need some support.
If Victoria can’t get it from her parents, then she might turn to Nate. Victoria might also ask for Nate’s expertise on Claire’s condition. Now, Nate was a medical doctor, not a psychiatrist.
However, Nate could provide other kinds of information to help Victoria navigate her future with Claire.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Mistaken Dynamics?
When people see Victoria and Nate together, there could be some mistaken assumptions. Victor might be furious to think Victoria is sleeping with Nate again.
If Victoria and Nate deny it, Victor could bring up the whole betrayal theory again. Over with Nate, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) could assume the worst. So, Victoria turning to Nate could complicate a lot of different dynamics and storylines.
