The Young And The Restless Spoilers: His Heart Has Been In Catching Bad Guys

For as long as he can remember, Chance’s heart has been in catching bad guys-he’s been FBI, Pentagon, private investigations and Genoa City Police.

But some of his loved ones have been strongly encouraging him to leave the danger, and work in something safer-a business career perhaps, since he’s a Chancellor. That was his mother, Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) and his ex-wife Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) in particular.

They had all talked together and Sharon, Nina and Chance had gone to Crimson Lights to talk about it some more-Abby had mentioned how she still worries about him. Both Abby and Nina had said if Chance never goes on a mission or goes after a bad guy again it would please them-but Sharon isn’t pushing.

In spite of his mother trying to push him into a business career, Chance isn’t sure that would be for him. Sharon and he have some more conversation about what else he could even do, with all his training in law enforcement and investigations.

And then there’s his son to consider-even if Abby and Devon Winters (Bryton James) are raising him, they still let him co-parent and split custody. Would some related field be safter-and if so, which one?
