According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Heather is joining Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) team. Heather is obvious about her plan to insert herself into Daniel’s life. One way she’s going to do this is by being friends with his girlfriend.

Months ago, Heather wasn’t interested in reconciling with Daniel. She dumped him and said she was moving on with a man she met in Portugal. That relationship didn’t last since she’s back in Genoa City once again.
Ever since she helped Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) with her legal issues, Heather feels that she should stick around this time.
The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Heather is glad to be on Phyllis’ good side for once. The two never got along when she was involved with Daniel.
Phyllis would like to see Heather and Daniel back together. She wants to see her son happy and it would be her way of repaying Heather back.

The Y&R spoilers also suggest that Heather isn’t over their marriage. She carries their family photo, similar to what Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) did when she returned. Both of these women had an ulterior motive to get their exes back into their lives.
