General Hospital spoilers report Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is on cloud nine. Her trip to New York City with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) couldn’t have gone better.
It was all the alone time she needed with him to make up for the months of distance between them ever since they got back from Greenland. Of course, coming back to Port Charles won’t change how difficult it is for them to get time together, but she will be encouraged that they agree to stop shelving their relationship and hiding it.
But when she shares her happiness with her family, it will dawn on her how hard that’s going to be to actually implement in her life.

It’s going to be hard for Trina to hide how happy she is upon returning to Port Charles. That weekend away will have done wonders for her relationship with Spencer, and it was far from the fact that they finally consummated their relationship that really sealed the deal for her.
Spencer’s ability to profess how he felt and really make time for Trina meant everything to her. The problem is, not everyone will be happy for Trina — even if it’s only because they know how inconsistent a Cassadine like Spencer can be. GH Spoilers Claim Trina Knows Her Mom Won’t Be
Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) hasn’t hidden her feelings about Spencer, but she has done a better job at keeping them to herself as of late.
Of course, that may change as she becomes more aware of just how much time Trina is starting to spend with Spencer — and how serious their relationship is now. Alright, maybe that night together at a hotel had a stronger effect than Portia would have liked.

Things are definitely changing up ahead, but Portia’s opinion of Spencer won’t be on the list of changes being made. Rather, Trina is going to have trouble being as honest with her mother about her relationship as she’s promised to be.
She and Spencer are going to agree that they need to come out of the closet a bit more — and prioritize their relationship in the process of doing so. But when push comes to shove, it’ll be difficult for Trina to put her relationship on full display for her mother, whom she knows doesn’t approve.
