General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Learns Marty Has Betrayed Her — But How Will She Handle It?

General Hospital: Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros)

General Hospital Spoilers spill Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is on her way back to Port Charles with her new husband, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

She is looking forward to a life of wedding bliss and believes nothing can go wrong now that they have said their vows and inked the marriage certificate.

General Hospital Spoilers Highlights

Little does she know, her world started to crumble while she was away. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) had to depart from Puerto Rico early after his dad and Nina’s wedding ceremony to tend to some important and spontaneous business back home.

Never mentioning what it was, there was no reason for NIna to think she was at all involved. Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) is about to level with her about that, and it’s going to send Nina into an all-out panic.

General Hospital Spoilers — Marty Warns His Client

Marty was just acting on behalf of his client — who was paying him well — when he made that call to the SEC. Nina didn’t want the call to ever be traced back to her.

For whatever reason, Marty still had to tell the SEC who his client was that tipped him off, to tip them off. Alas, there was some record somewhere of Nina sticking her nose in where it didn’t belong, and for whatever reason, only Michael’s friend at the SEC was able to track it down now.

Maybe Mikey was merely too busy with his wife’s cancer battle before to focus on this. Regardless, Marty knows he’s in hot water now and he doesn’t want any parts of Sonny’s wrath. Still, he is going to give Nina a heads up about what is to come.

GH Spoilers Claim Panic Ensues for Nina

Nina won’t believe what she’s hearing. She had been worrying about this far less in recent weeks since Marty assured her no one would ever find out what she had done.

She truly assumed that was the truth because of attorney-client privilege. It’s possible that Marty might paint a story that is a bit different from what actually went down.

He could shift the blame to the SEC and warn her that information about her entanglement with the report might come out after all, not letting on to the fact that it was he who spelled out the truth to Michael of all people.

Either way, Nina is going to be a nervous wreck waiting for her life to implode.

General Hospital Spoilers — Running Out of Allies

Nina is running out of people to rely on in this mess she has created for herself. Ava Jerome (Maura West) was the only person she has really confided in about what she has done, and she thought her secret would be safe forever as long as Ava didn’t spill.

But now Ava is going to be too busy with her own trauma — and drama — to care much about Nina’s disastrous new marriage. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is always there for Nina, but she would never feel sorry for her over this.

She certainly can’t discuss it with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) — the daughter she’s likely to lose all over again when the truth comes out.

Maybe Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will come back to the screen long enough to show Nina some sympathy, but it sounds like she’s about to be on her own in this fight. Stay tuned for more General Hospital news and spoilers to watch this play out.

  1. […] Obviously, Cyrus still has it out for Sonny. That may be one of the major reasons he’s been circling around Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). But he may not be so bold as to launch an attack on the mob boss straight out the gate. That would be too obvious, and Cyrus may have to spend some time gathering resources to pull off whatever he has planned — though we doubt he actually gave away all of his money. […]

  2. […] For anyone who’s seen a photo of Asher Jared Antonyzyn, he bears a striking resemblance to Danny Morgan’s bio dad, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Although Stone Cold is no longer on canvas, as he’s thought to be dead, it’s often very neat how casting directors will stay true to a character’s biological roots. […]
