NO secrets are safe in Salem, and NO one can be trusted-Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) found that out the hard way when she thought she was fooling Li Shin (Remington Hoffman).
She thought she and her feminine wiles would get the truth on Shin but he turned the tables on her-resulting in her firing; sneaky Shin bugged the DA’s office. As a result, everything she told acting Mayor Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) was recorded and Shin confronted her-then Paulina fired her!
As for EJ, he tricked Li’s little sister Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) so he could catch her trying to mine his cell phone data and fired her! Now somehow EJ finds out that the baby Nicole is carrying isn’t his, it’s Eric’s-perhaps Sloan makes the mistake of talking to someone in place EJ has bugged?

EJ talked to Nicole about firing Wendy and needing an emergency IT person to replace her at DiMera, and Nicole wondered who they could get on such short notice.
Information technology is a specialized skill, and good IT people are sometimes hard to find, given the sometimes fluctuating hours they have to work.
Often, IT people are on call sometimes twenty-four seven if the job requires it and the business is internet dependent. But surely there is a competent information technologist at another office of DiMera they can acquire quickly-Wendy can’t be the only one!
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Hire Back Li Shin-No Way
EJ considers hiring back Li Shin but then decides there’s no way-not only might he take offense to EJ firing his little sister, he’s vicious.
Technically, Li isn’t an IT person anyway but he obviously knew how to help keep Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) keep Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) alive in secret.
EJ may in fact not be able to find a replacement for Wendy that quickly, but whoever he does get he’ll make sure to bug the office they work in.
Melinda’s office was already bugged and who’s to say that won’t be where EJ finds out the big secret-Sloan did confide it in Melinda! Li might just decide to blackmail EJ into hiring Wendy back with that information, and that might be how he finds out and Sloan has to scramble!
