General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) promised Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) she would be a good girl and refrain from picking any more fights with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), but that’s easier said than done. Normally, Carly can show a lot of restraint, but life is really kicking her while she’s down right now. Nina may come to bear the brunt of Carly’s frustrations when they’re both with Willow and Nina rubs Carly the wrong way for the hundredth time. Carly could come to regret her clap back in the moment, but nothing is going to surprise her more than the change in Willow’s demeanor toward her birth mother.

General Hospital Spoilers — Carly Spencer And Nina Reeves Tried To Bury The Hatchet

Nina has done a pretty good job thus far at keeping her friendship with Ava Jerome (Maura West) out of the crossfire when she’s sparring with Carly. But that’s about to end. Recently, Ava has brought concerns about Pilar Rodrigeuz (Brenda Barberena) to Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) attention, and while he didn’t really share her concerns, he didn’t contest them. When Carly learns from Nina that her beloved nanny could be replaced because Ava has a bug up her behind, it’s not going to go over well and Carly could take her emotions out on Nina as a reflex.

General Hospital Updates – Nina Reeves Rises Above

When Carly bites back at Nina out of surprise — not having learned about changes with Pilar from Sonny or Ava — Nina will take it in stride. Fortunately for Nina, she will be surprised that Carly knew nothing about it and may even truly sympathize with her nemesis. She wouldn’t be happy to find out such news about her child’s nanny from a third party either, though that doesn’t mean Nina is going to call Sonny out for not looping Carly in sooner. Still, Willow will be all eyes and ears as Carly and Nina have words and for the first time, Nina comes out on top.

Willow Tait’s Taste For Carly Spencer Sours

Willow is going to make note of her birth mom’s newfound ability to take Carly’s jabs and not react to them but respond in kind instead. It looks like Nina has come a long way and truly does want to earn her daughter’s approval and affection. While Carly’s clap back won’t necessarily damage her street cred with Willow – because virtually nothing does — a new challenge awaits them ahead. When Willow learns that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) revamped his professional relationship with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) while she was in isolation, and that is more involved in mob business than ever, all thanks to Carly, she just might start to see her mother-in-law in a different light.
