The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) always considers tomorrow. That is why he wants Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) back in the fold, accepted Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) business merger plan, and is teased to offer Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson).

Victor’s outlook is optimistic, even though he can often come across as dour. He wants Newman Enterprises to have a design division, headed by Sally and Chloe.

The above would seem to go against Victor’s past desire to separate Sally from Adam and Nick’s lives. But the Moustache had a partial change of heart after Sally miscarried the baby she and Adam were expecting, and there is a business angle to Victor’s goal.

Sally rejected Victor’s bribe in the recent past. He offered to fund whatever business she intended to start, with the caveat that her baby be left in Genoa City, Wisconsin, and she had to leave town for good.

Hope’s character was outraged that Victor wanted to buy her baby and banish her from GC. However, with time to think, she realized the Moustache was likely testing her greed factor.

Victor was mildly impressed that Sally did not accept money. But he also knew that she remained tied to Adam through the baby and to Nick through romance. The miscarriage altered Victor’s perspective to a certain degree.

The Young And The Restless Updates – The Brother’s Newman Mixed Reactions

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) does not want Sally entangled in the Newman family’s dramas. So, he saw her termination from Newman Enterprises as unfair but also better for her in the long run.

Adam recently asked Sally to work with him at Adustus. She rejected his offer, wanting to remain apart from a man she considers bad news.

So, if Sally accepts Victor’s offer awkwardness in the workplace with return in full force. Chloe’s agreement would put Adam’s nemesis in his path. However, Hendrickson’s character grudgingly admitted that Adam treated Sally well during the period when she was pregnant.

Victor Newman’s Portrait Returns?

Victor told Nick, Adam, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) that he would be calling the shots again. But Victoria’s portrait still hangs in the top C-suite in Newman Towers.

So, unless the classic image of Victor is rehung, Braeden’s character will not be retaking the day-to-day top spot at Newman Enterprises. His vision is for the next generation to produce on Y&R.
