General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is suspicious of Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) even though she loves him. She finds it odd that he never wants to marry her so she hires Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) to be her spy!
General Hospital Spoilers – It Breaks Her Heart, But Something Seems Off
It breaks her heart, but something seems off-she thought when she tried a psychological trick he’d say he’d marry her even though he’d been married and divorced several times. Plus, he acts really sketchy anytime the new product, “The Deceptor” comes up in conversation, and she can’t figure out why he said he didn’t want money or credit for the idea. Lucy knows she has to make sure that she can trust him, although it pains her that she’s not sure that she can; Felicia’s a little surprised, but she agrees.
Both Felicia and Mac Scorpio (John J. York) will help in this investigation, although Felicia is much more than Mac, since he’s bogged down with PCPD business. But neither of them, even though they believe Marty loves Lucy, wants her to be hurt and they’ve been her close friends for years.
General Hospital Updates – Strange Behavior, Very Strange
Felicia, as a woman, is also put off by Marty’s seeming marriage avoidance, although being through three ugly divorces with a lot of alimony paid makes sense for his excuse. But she needs to see the other sides of the story and what his ex-wives give as the reason for the divorces-usually there’s fault on both sides. Lucy does tell her, and Mac, that from what she’s heard the three women were real doozies and may have been after Marty’s money more than they were after Marty. It seems odd someone so devoted to his mother would have treated women badly, and other than Marty’s odd behavior about the Deceptor Lucy says he’s treated her like a queen.
Martin Gray’s Divorces Should Be Public Records
Felicia says she doubts that Mac will have to look into any criminal records since all of Martin’s divorces should be in the public records of the various places he’s lived. Any background checks on his exes shouldn’t be difficult and it’s possible he’s balking because of something an ex is blackmailing him with. If the exes check out, then she can do one on Martin, and if anything criminal is going on with an ex Mac will get involved.
Lucy agrees it’s a good start to suspect an ex is giving him trouble that he doesn’t want to admit. All concerned hope it can all be resolved and Marty can get over his anti-marriage sentiments!
