Deacon knows that he is far from being buddy-buddy with Ridge, although he did help them with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) rather unwillingly. But he wants to make sure of three things-that Ridge is over Brooke, that Brooke is over Ridge, and that Taylor isn’t setting him up to distract Ridge from Brooke. Deacon is more Brooke’s friend than Taylor’s although he doesn’t want to see waffling Ridge hurt her again, and this is the best way he can tell.
Deacon talks about his and Ridge’s women in common and wants to make sure Ridge is over Brooke before he tries a chance with her. He doesn’t mention Taylor at all, and that’s when Ridge makes his shocking admission-he thinks Taylor is hot, and he’s okay with Deacon making a try for Brooke!
The Bold And The Beautiful Updates – Deacon Sharpe Satisfied But Still Taking It Cautiously
Deacon’s satisfied that Ridge isn’t jealous of Brooke, but he’s noticing things in the way Brooke talks about Ridge and her body language. She deflects when he asks her out for a romantic dinner, and says she just doesn’t want to date anyone-she just wants Taylor to stop fixing her up. She claims she thought if she told Taylor she wanted to be with someone familiar, not go into uncharted territory she’d un-sic Paul Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers) on her. Then the conversation goes to other issues – namely, Brooke’s worry about Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and her feelings for Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
Brooke Logan Tells On Herself
As Deacon and Brooke are talking, suddenly Ridge appears out of nowhere and joins them-Ridge doesn’t seem anything other than he told Deacon but Brooke is acting territorial! Deacon has his suspicions, Taylor not being the only one who can pick up on body language. He senses there’s more than meets the eye here with both women and the old rivalry over Ridge is rearing its ugly head!
