The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Genoa City, Wisconsin is shedding residents left and right and now fans are concerned that one bona fide daytime superstar may also be on the way out.
Hopes were high when former One Life to Live alum Trevor St. John was cast on Y&R, the number-one-rated daytime drama. He came on as a recast Tucker McCall who has so much storyline potential that it’s astounding that the character has had so little to do. What gives, is this lack of story revealing in more ways than one? Is Tucker McCall about to take his leave of the soap again?
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Tucker McCall Has Nothing To Do
Tucker landed with a boom, literally, when he returned to Genoa City in a helicopter. But what has he done since then besides bed his treacherous business associate Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) which was a storyline that ended up in Nowheresville. For some reason, Audra is a bigger character with a meatier storyline right now.
Tucker also mostly failed to make inroads with his son Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). Devon told his betraying dad to take a hike at one point but is now tepidly allowing him to be a part of his life. Still, the biggest thing to transpire between them recently was Devon offering his dad some of his son’s apple juice. Was it just us or did Lawrence himself have a wth look on his face in that scene?
The Young And The Restless Updates – Should Tucker McCall Leave Again?
Tucker has also mostly failed to get Ashley Abbott‘s (Eileen Davidson) attention and she doesn’t even know the full truth about Audra!
For some strange reason, she tried to rehabilitate him by buying his company McCall Unlimited so that he and Devon could run it together. Since when did Ashley become a wanna-be social worker?
In the end, Devon turned down the offer and Ashley was disappointed that she out of left field business maneuver didn’t work.
Ashley Abbott Mad At Tucker
At the same time, Tucker feels that Ashley doesn’t see that he’s a changed man after his ashram stay. And Ashley can’t quite trust him which as fans know, she shouldn’t. Ashley does not believe that Tucker will be faithful to her and that is a hard stone to get past in a relationship.
At this time it looks like there is nowhere for this character to go. Everyone in his life has abandoned him in one degree or another and now he doesn’t even have his own company to run. Tell us Y&R fans, is it time for Tucker to return to the ashram?
