Hallmark Updates – Changes At Hallmark

Fans have been wondering if the network will continue to make mystery movies after all the changes that have happened over the years. Fans may recall that CEO Bill Abbott left Hallmark in 2020 and launched Great American Family.

Some actors left Hallmark, including Cameron Bure and Danica McKellar. The latter eventually announced that the Matchmaker Mysteries has been canceled while Bure appeared in the last Aurora Teagarden Mysteries in February 2022.

Even Jesse Metcalfe expressed his dismay and disappointment in his assumption that his Martha’s Vineyard Mysteries would be canceled.

But with CEO Wonya Lucas and Programming Vice President Lisa Hamilton Daly taking the reins, things seem to be looking much better for the network. They have been working tirelessly to update and revitalize Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
