The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease that a stolen kiss Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) can’t get out of his mind ramps up his guilt. He had just worked things out with his significant other, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and can’t get Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) kiss out of his mind.

Nate didn’t expect that little office cocktail party that he and Victoria had would turn into something like it did – and he was little blindsided when Victoria kissed him. It would seem that Victoria has some kind of crush on him, which is interesting since they’ve known each other for years. It’s not something that he is feeling good about at all, as hard as he had worked to save his relationship with Elena, and he’s not sure he can trust himself.
Nate tries to decide if he’s actually attracted to Victoria or if the work environment that has welcomed him with open arms makes her more attracted to him. While at home, getting ready for work, Elena wakes him out of his daydream with an adoring smile.

Reflecting back, Nate does remember that they were both pretty stoked with liquor that night and wonders if that was a factor. Perhaps those office cocktails need to be replaced with some good strong coffee, considering he’s never worked anywhere else that stocked strong liquor in the office.
But it is time to get to the office and start his workday so he decides to ask Victoria where things stand after that kiss. When he arrives he brings up the subject but Victoria merely says their “brainstorming session” was invigorating; maybe it was just a fluke after all and they move on. It’s really not his place to ask if they could have some coffee in the office so he just goes on and gets started on the day’s agenda.

With Nate being one level below Victoria in the Newman Enterprises hierarchy, he wonders how does one move off after the boss kisses them? They were both rather tipsy and he can always blame the liquor, and as for Victoria’s answer, was it a clever way of saying he turns her on? Nate knows this kind of thinking is wrong, all wrong, and tries to dismiss it from his mind.
Still, it takes two to tangle and he wonders if this momentary flirtation might be headed for more. It wouldn’t be the first time two high powered executives took their power from the boardroom to the bedroom.
