Devoted fans recall Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) sat aside from Nick while he was awaiting those results. That was one of the moments when it seemed possible Nick and Sharon’s connection might result in them eventually remarrying. But that did not happen. Sharon was a good counterbalance during that period. She helped stabilize him. Adam allowed Nick to raise his child, as Morrow’s character was the only father Christian knew from birth.

Sally wants to build a life with Nick, so she felt the baby news might seem like a trap. Thankfully, Nick responded with compassion and acceptance.

Adam could be revealed as the father but in a way that diverges from the last storyline that had him and his brother as competing candidates. A paternity test error or an intentional switch could happen. Sally wants Nick to be the father because she feels there is no future with Adam.
