Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) shifted heat from Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) to Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) in an attempt to regain access to his son.

Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) was clear. Faced with continuing to live with Hope at the cabin or with Thomas, he chose neither.

Hope welcomed Douglas into her home in the relatively recent past. Years went by on the daytime calendar.

Thomas initiated the bond between his son and the woman he wanted to forge a relationship with. Hope’s marriage to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was not something Thomas respected, willing himself to think that Hope would eventually turn the soapy page.

Noelle’s character never fell out of love with Liam. To her great credit, Hope saw the best in Thomas and created a workable co-parenting connection with him until learning about his frame of her mother.

The Bold And The Beautiful Updates – Ridge Forrester Source Of Drama

Thomas believes the rules should not apply to him. He developed this way of thinking over the course of his life, with enabling by his parents.

Ridge Forrester’s (then played by Ronn Moss) decision to split from Taylor Hayes (then played by Hunter Tylo) created a dysfunctional dynamic. His children felt betrayed by their father, who split their family apart so he could be with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).

The eight realized marriages Ridge had with Brooke arguably suggest that Thomas was deeply impacted by his father’s lack of stability. Viewers know Ridge provided excuses for Thomas’ behavior for years until only recently realizing that was a significant part of the problem he helped to create.

John Finn Finnegan Helps Enforce Ground Rules

Finn, like Steffy, Ridge (now played by Thorsten Kaye), and Taylor (now played by Krista Allen), knows that Thomas must be held to account. Novlan’s character and Steffy tried telling Thomas they would not allow him to have carte in their home.

Thomas did not like hearing he would be kept in check. Scenes in the apartment, where he is staying with Paris Buckingham (Diamond White), revealed to the audience that he intends to be a better parent.

Finn, like Liam, will not allow Steffy to bear the brunt of Thomas’ venom. Fans will soon see if Thomas gets the message or repeats his destructive pattern on B&B.
