Liam reaffirmed how much of a good husband he is to Hope. Clifton’s character demonstrated trepidation, similar to what Finn is feeling now.

However, Douglas’ presence in the cabin quickly won Liam over. He proved to be the type of father figure Douglas or any child needs.

Hope’s selflessness allowed Douglas to gain a second mother after his birth mother, Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey) tragically died. That, along with Liam’s trust in his wife, enabled Douglas to live in a stable home with two parents and a sister.

Finn said that Douglas has a home and parents that love him. Along with that, he has Liam, who is a stepfather.

What Finn did not mention, but is likely thinking, is that Thomas will be a factor if Douglas lives at the cliff house. Thomas winked at that reality when telling to Hope and Liam that Steffy would not block him from seeing his son.

With whatever anyone is projecting, there is no way to determine how this next phase in Douglas’ already chaotic life will go. But drama is certain as the Spencers, Finnegans, and Thomas adjust to Douglas’ new living arrangement on B&B.
