Recently, Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) leveled her longtime bestie and boyfriend, Cameron ‘Cam’ Webber (William Lipton), when she broke up with him on New Year’s Eve amidst already having hooked up with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). The guilt was eating Joss alive for months and she knew it was something she needed to do but she kept putting it off. Now, Cam is about to find out even more troubling news that could have him — and Lipton — headed for the hills.

Lipton has been cast in a brand new show called the Untitled Band Project! Lighthouse Films shared some backstage takes from their latest series on Insta recently, captioned with, “We are excited to share a few behind the scenes shots from the Untitled Band Project! Lighthouse Films had the opportunity to work with director, @jonaspate1, this past fall to film a pilot episode of a new series about an edgy band coming together as they finish their senior year of high school. LFC owner, Brad Walker, was the Director of Photography, Ben Coffman was the B Camera Operator, and Zai Jackson was the Ronin Tech. General Hospital Updates –  Lipton Is Tight-Lipped

Lipton hasn’t said whether his new role will take center stage or if it will at all hinder his role as Cam on GH. However, now that his relationship with Joss has fizzled out, Cam just might find he doesn’t have much of a place on the show right now. Furthermore, his mother, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), is itching to confess to her role in keeping Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) hostage at Wyndemere with Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss). When Cam finds out his mom was actually helping Esme — the girl who filmed him and Joss and distributed their revenge porn, he will be livid.

Is Cameron Webber Leaving Port Charles?

This kind of thing could bring Cam to his knees, and he just might find the gumption to truck it out of town. All we really see of Cam anymore is his anger toward Joss and his workaholic ways at Kelly’s. Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) swings by from time to time but for the most part, few characters have quality scenes with Cam anymore since his break-up with Joss.
