The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) will be able to revert to her maiden name if she survives the car crash. Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) admitted everything. It was a bitter, soapy pill that Victoria could not swallow.
She was glad to hear the truth but could not believe that Ashland had the unmitigated gall to believe she would instantly forgive him and run away from Genoa City, Wisconsin, and leave her children behind.
Meanwhile, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) believed that he realized his goal through an impulse idea that scored gold. Ashland accepted Adam’s unauthorized pitch, taking the five-hundred million dollar offer in exchange for ending his contract with Newman-Locke and annulling his marriage to Victoria.

What a cad Ashland is. Adam recognized the basest part of Ashland’s persona and took dead aim at it. Hitting the bullseye because Ashland believed Victoria would be along for the new ride.
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) believes in Adam. She saw him as her ticket to ride in Genoa City, Wisconsin. But it must also be said that Sally has also fallen in love with Adam along the way, which is somewhat similar to what Ashland told Victoria about his unexpected GC journey.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) was furious at Adam for bucking Victoria’s plan to catch Ashland. Yet, Adam’s plan worked, ridding the Newman family of the Lockeness Monster.

Ashland was so blinded by his love for Victoria that he believed she would be willing to forgive what she called his disgusting behavior.
Victoria was used and humiliated. She and her family were manipulated by someone who said he was initially proud of himself for lying about cancer so that he could merge the Locke Communications Group with Newman Enterprises.
With whatever his love for Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) was, Victoria became Ashland’s realized soul mate. The infinite difference allowed Ashland to see that he has the capacity to be a better person and experience the type of love he never had before.
Victoria Newman Badly Hurt
Sadly, Jordi Vilasuso (Rey Rosales) was let out of his contract. That backstage choice means Rey is killed off in the crash involving his car and Victoria’s.
Heinle’s character is knocked unconscious in the accident. The dramatic scene will allow Ashland to remain connected to her for now on Y&R.
