Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) could not possibly have imagined that the woman who was leading him to make contact with Keemo’s daughter via text was Diane. Neither he nor anyone else, including Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), would believe that the woman Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) killed in 2011 somehow lived.

Thankfully, Chance Chancellor’s (as now played by Conner Floyd) brother, Ronan Malloy (Jeff Branson), who was working under Paul Williams (Doug Davidson), pieced together an investigation that cleared Nikki of wrong-doing. She acted in self-defense.
