The Young And The Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Billy’s Reputation Precedes Him – Ashland Admits Nemesis Is Right
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) can be accurately labeled in many ways. Calling him Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) nemesis is one of them.
Billy did not feel that Ashland was telling the whole truth or even most of it. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) brushed off Billy’s comments as not so thinly veiled jealousy.
However, Ashland’s admission that Billy was right signals that the anticipated reveal part of this storyline has begun.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Why No Birth Record?
The simple answer to this subject header question is that Ashland Locke is an invented name. Christian Miller, who became Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), did that when he reinvented himself.
Assuming the above is correct probably means that Ashland was born with a different name and then created his unique moniker to make a fresh start, like the Moustache.
It will be interesting to see if Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) can be contacted about this matter. She was last known to be in prison.
Whether Billy can receive approval to visit Tara is a good question. Whether Ashland’s ex-wife knows anything worthwhile and will provide any information is something Billy can determine.
The Young And The Restless Updates – Why No Death Records?
Another unusual aspect of Ashland’s past relates to his parents. Billy has not been able to uncover their death records.
This implies that the records are buried because of illegalities regarding their demises or, like Ashland, that Locke wasn’t their family’s name. The latter seems to be the more likely case at this point in the plot.
However, Ashland’s real name can be determined would lead to his parent’s actual names being discovered. Then, a clear search for their death records could happen.
Firing A Warning Shot
Ashland will offer Victoria some initial explanation of what Billy forced into the open. But Burgi’s character will also issue a chilling warning.
It seems as though Billy’s pressure is pulling the veil off whatever Ashland kept covered for many decades. He may or may not have committed crimes, which makes the imminent arrival of attorney Jesse Gains (Jamison Jones, who was on General Hospital in a variety of roles from 2004 through 2020) a major teaser.
Vashland fans should be concerned. Victoria has not been to date, but rapidly developing events might make her reconsider Billy’s forceful opinions.
