In a recent interview, Mank Best Supporting Actress nominee who has two children- four-year-old daughter Nina and son Thomas, whom she welcomed in September 2020- with husband Thomas Sadoski joked, “I’ve never played a mother before I was a mother. How’s that Hollywood? Thanks a lot!”
She continued, “But it’s actually…richer. It’s got more nuance obviously. There’s just a life experience you’re getting on a daily basis—now twice as much.”

Though she has gushed about motherhood before, it’s on Netflix thriller Things Heard & Seen that Seyfried plays a mother on-screen for the first time.
Speaking of her latest film, she explained how her personal experiences as a wife and mother added to her range, playing the role of Catherine, a parent who relocates to a small rural town with her young family.
There was plenty of laughter on the set of the film to balance out the haunting vibes Aside from the influence of parenthood on her acting, she also revealed that she and co-star James Norton had a lot of fun on the set of the supernatural film – which will be available on Netflix from April 29th She said, “We dressed up as each other. I worked my ass off to make that happen. It was more fun than it should have been but that’s what you do when you have really intense content.”
