The Bold and The Beautiful’s Liam isn’t going to believe just anyone’s word for the baby’s paternity. After all, he was told by a reputable hospital that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was carrying his child. Now that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) have come up with this paternity change, Liam has to question it.
Liam has tried to come between Finn and Steffy for months. Liam could easily believe the Finn would have someone change the result to push him out of Steffy and their daughter’s life. Liam doesn’t trust Finn or Thomas to let him be in his baby’s life. If Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) had anything to do with the test Liam certainly wants it done over.

After all, Finn was there when Vinny came clean and isn’t going to lie about it. Steffy was ready to leave town and sacrifice her relationship with Finn to set him free. Steffy had accepted that the baby was Liam’s and nothing could be done about it.
However, Steffy got the shock of her life. Finn wanted to marry her before he found out the baby was his, now he only wants that more, and Steffy has agreed. Steffy probably isn’t going to risk someone else messing with the results.

The Bold and The Beautiful’s Hope has every right to be upset with Liam. After all, this pregnancy almost ended their marriage. Now Liam wants to prove that the baby is his and not Finn’s. Is it the baby that Liam wants or is it, Steffy? After all, Liam has a daughter with Steffy already, he will always have a connection to her, what does he need another one? Why would Liam want to take another man’s child after the time they lost with their own daughter not so long ago?
If Liam cannot get over this change in test results knowing there was a switch, perhaps he doesn’t deserve Hope. Should Hope cut her losses and move on?
