Royal Family News: Piers Morgan Slams Gayle King For Revealing Details Of Prince Harry’s Private Conversations
British Royal Family news teases that Piers Morgan is someone who certainly said a lot of controversial things in the past but believes that it’s not a journalist’s place to report details of private conversations between royal family members. At least, he doesn’t believe it’s Gayle King’s place to do so.
The former Good Morning Britain host slammed Oprah’s best friend for revealing sensitive details about Prince Harry’s recent conversation with his father, Prince Charles, and his brother, Prince William. Here’s what you need to know.
Royal Family News: Piers Morgan Slams Gayle King For Revealing Details Of Prince Harry’s Conversation With Royal Family Members
Gayle recently said on CBS This Morning that Harry told her that his conversation with Prince Charles and Prince William was “unproductive.” This comes after both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle managed to throw the entire royal family under the bus in their explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey earlier this month.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex opened up about their struggles behind closed palace doors and even suggested there was a racist within the royal family.
Of course, it didn’t take Piers very long to slam Gayle for her comments. “Hi, @GayleKing – rather than acting as your Sussex friends’ PR mouthpiece to facilitate their ongoing public trashing of our Royal Family, how about doing your job as a journalist and ask them about all the lies they told in @Oprah’s interview? America should hear THE truth,” he tweeted this week.
Royal Family News: What’s Next For Piers Morgan?
Piers Morgan himself is in hot water after he was forced to step down from Good Morning Britain for the things he said about Meghan Markle. Piers says that he doesn’t believe Meghan’s claims that she was experiencing suicidal thoughts during her time in the palace. Many people have branded Piers a “racist,” which he vehemently denied on Twitter.
“Two key points from the past week that need reinforcing: 1) It’s not ‘racist’ to disbelieve someone who’s telling lies. 2) You don’t have to agree with a word I say to support my right to have my own opinions,” he wrote in another tweet.
So far Gayle King has not responded to Piers Morgan although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said.
