General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will discuss the future of ELQ in an upcoming episode of General Hospital!
General Hospital Spoilers – It’s Back To Business For Valentin Cassadine
General Hospital viewers will remember that back before the Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) wedding fiasco, that Valentin became a major owner in Edward Lewis Quartermaine Enterprises, otherwise known as ELQ. He bought out much of their stock, and Ned Quartermaine, (Wally Kurth) and the rest of the Quartermaines were left scrambling as to how to fix the mess. Michael Corinthos, (Chad Duell) although taking over at Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) and Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) old company, Aurora, is still very definitely a part of ELQ as part of the Quartermaine family.
The Aurora Media division was split off and Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) took it over, but Jax didn’t take the other part which is where Michael has been working. Now that the marriage of Maxie to Peter has been successfully averted and Maxie has realized she’d be marrying a monster, it’s back to business for Valentin. Michael and Valentin will have a meeting to discuss the future of ELQ, and that will likely include not only how it will be operated, but who the CEO or Chief Operating Officer will be going forward.
It is very likely that Valentin will vie for the CEO position, in addition to his half-ownership of Deception Cosmetics. After all, now that all things Cassadine has reverted back to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), Valentin wants to replenish his money. He’s still living in the Metro Court and that’s no place to raise a child! Besides, when Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) grows up, if Valentin is totally in charge and stays there it will be her legacy.
General Hospital Updates – Michael Corinthos Has A Child’s Future And Legacy To Think About Too
General Hospital viewers will remember that Valentin isn’t the only one with a child’s future and legacy to think about. He will want Wiley Corinthos (Erik and Theodore Olson) to have one, too. There is also Quartermaine blood in Wiley because as longtime viewers will remember, Michael’s birth father was AJ Quartermaine (Sean Kanan). Chances are, Valentin will be putting his cards on the table about his intentions to totally take over ELQ.
Michael will be in opposition, as would the rest of the remaining ELQ board members – of which, unfortunately, there aren’t many of. Valentin bought many of their controlling interests out when he made his corporate takeover moves several months ago.
Unfortunately, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) wouldn’t even be able to back Michael up and he regrets his move to take the title of CEO away from Michael several months ago – partially, that is what gave Valentin the opportunity to take over! Now the remaining Quartermaines must fight to keep their legacy as Valentin tries to legally take it from them because he does own most of the controlling stock!
