Bridgerton Spoilers: Fans Catch Glaring Error In Historical Regency-Era Drama
Bridgerton spoilers say that while everyone is definitely loving the first season of the hit Netflix series and can’t wait for the second one to begin filming soon, some early-eyed fans noticed a rather glaring error that was made during the filming. Here’s what you need to know.
Bridgerton Spoilers: Fans Catch Glaring Error In Historical Regency-Era Drama
The drama series is set in the 1800s but some Twitter fans have pointed out that there was a painted yellow line in a scene with a horse-drawn carriage running a corner on a cobbled road. The lines actually indicate parking restrictions and were not conceptualized in the U.K. until 1947.
If that weren’t enough, fans also noticed that there was a telecoms manhole in another scene. Of course, it didn’t take very long for fans and critics to take to their Twitter accounts to comment on the filming errors with many of them saying, “Really enjoying Bridgerton, but with the technology available to filmmakers these days, a yellow line?” along with, “I didn’t realise the 19th Century Brits were such pioneers.”
Meanwhile, Bridgerton Season 2 will begin filming sooner rather than later as Netflix announced that the series will indeed be back for my Regency-era drama, romance and of course, steamy romps.
Bridgerton Spoilers: When Will Filming Begin For Season 2?
The producers of the hit Netflix series shared what definitely looks like the latest edition of Lady Whistledown’s society paper. It reads, “The ton are abuzz with the latest gossip, and so it is my honor to impart to you: Bridgerton shall officially return for a second season. I do hope you have stored a bottle of ratafia for this most delightful occasion.”
In addition to the announcement, Netflix also shared a short teaser but of highlights from the first season. At the end though the clip suggests that the second season will focus on Anthony Bridgerton’s (Jonathan Bailey) and his pursuit for a suitable partner.
The season will most likely follow the second book of Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton series, The Viscount Who Loved Me. Seeing how there is eight books in the series, there’s a very good chance that Netflix might produce eight seasons while also focusing on each one of the Bridgerton siblings.
