Bridgerton Season 2 spoilers say that all eyes are going to be on Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) as he tries to find a suitable partner in this Regency-era world in London to make his wife. But if there’s anything that we’ve learned about the first season, there are going to be plenty of trials and tribulations before that happens. However, fans can certainly expect this season to be much sexier and steamy than the first and for many different reasons, too. Here’s why.
The Viscount Who Loved Me
The first season drew mostly from the plot of Julia Queen’s first book, The Duke and I, and the second season will draw from the events of the second book, The Viscount Who Loved Me. If the name Kate Sheffield doesn’t sound familiar that’s because she didn’t appear in the first season but will make quite the debut in the second. Bridgerton Season 2 spoilers say that Anthony is going to spend a lot of time trying to make Kate his, both in and out of his bedsheets.
What About Siena?
Speaking of bed sheets, Anthony was obsessed with opera singer Siena Rosso (Sabrina Bartlett) so much so that the two of them snuck around all over town just to get hot and heavy with one another. And boy did they ever! While the show’s front runner believes that it’s a little too early to say whether or not Siena will play a bigger role in Anthony’s life in the second season, he does know that there is going to be plenty of drama and steamy scenes, just like in the first season. We have a feeling that both Kate and Siena will have to fight for his attention and in more ways than one.
You Also Can’t Ignore Those Sideburns
Actor Jonathan Bailey, who plays Anthony on the hit Netflix series that he’s getting ready to film the second season by growing out those sexy, irrespirable sideburns that you just couldn’t turn away from in the first season.
Jonathan even said, “Well, I think you can tell from the length of my beard that I’m starting to grow [my] mutton chops. I’m actually doing a lot of paddleboarding at the moment and swimming in the sea because I live on the coast.” Mutton chops? Oh my.
