Kate Middleton Admits That She Often Deals With Toddler Tantrums

Royals: they certainly aren’t perfect, just like us. As a matter of fact, Kate Middleton, who as many fans know is the wife of future King of England, Prince William, recently went on the record to say that yes, she oftentimes deals with toddler tantrums at home. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge share three children together, Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, and two-year-old Prince Louis. Here’s what she has to say.

During an interview for her ‘5 Big Questions on the Under Fives’ survey, one curious person asked the Duchess of Cambridge how she manages toddler tantrums, especially since she has multiple children.

Her answer?

“Yes, that’s a hard one. I’d also like to ask the experts myself!”

The proud royal mom also opened up about homeschooling her children during the pandemic.

“George gets very upset because he just wants to do all of Charlotte’s projects. Spider sandwiches are far cooler than literacy work!” Kate said.

That sounds like a typical scenario that a lot of different parents would relate to, right? During her Q&A, Kate Middleton also opened up as to why she’s always had such a keen interest on early childhood education and development.

“I think people assume that because I am a parent, that’s why I’ve taken an interest in the Early Years. I think this really is bigger than that. This isn’t just about happy, healthy children. This is about the society I hope we could and can become. Right from the early days, meeting lots of people who are suffering with addiction or poor mental health and hearing time and time again that their troubles now in adulthood stem right back from early childhood experience,” she said.
