Celebrity Baby Laundry reports that actress Elizabeth Hendrickson, who currently plays Chloe Mitchell on the CBS soap opera “The Young and The Restless” is happy to announce that not only are she and her husband Rob Meder expecting a baby, but that her pregnancy is being written into the storyline!

Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) gave Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart the baby news on the episode that ran on Monday, December 30 2019 in the United States. It was supposed to be shown on Christmas Day, December 25 2019 but the show was pushed out due to interruptions in the United States so the schedule for US viewers is a little off!

Chloe made the announcement by handing Kevin a pair of baby shoes at Crimson Lights, after which proud Daddy-to-be Kevin announced the news to the whole coffeehouse!! This is great news for Kevin and Chloe, who have an older daughter, Bella Fisher (Martie Blair) but even greater news for Elizabeth Hendrickson and her husband, Rob Meder because Elizabeth is expecting in real life as well, so shall we call it life imitates art, or the other way around?

Greg gave Elizabeth a crib that was used for his and his husband Robert Sudduth’s son. Elizabeth is over the top happy that The Young and The Restless writers wrote her real-life pregnancy into the show! Michelle Stafford, who plays Phyllis Summers on the show and is a mother of two, is quoted as saying, “Yay! I have some stuff for you!” Elizabeth responded, “More goodies? There is an upside to being late to the game!

Elizabeth originally made the announcement just before Christmas, with a cute photo of herself in front of her Christmas tree cradling her growing baby bump, as nearly all expectant mothers are proud to show off. She made a cute caption to the photo, saying “No that’s not a belly full of bagels, it’s a belly full of bagels and a baby!
