Here’s What Prince George Can Expect This School Year
It looks like Prince George will have to spend less time waving and smiling at his adoring fans this year. That’s because the future King of England is about to hit the books right after the first day of school and yes, he is also going to have a serious increase in homework. As a matter of fact, one report says that Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s curriculum at Thomas’s Battersea School is serious business. Here’s what you need to know.
It’s Back To School Season For The Royals
This will be Princess Charlotte’s first year of full-time school while her older brother Prince George will be moving from Year 1 to Year 2. And while there will be plenty of time to laugh, make memories and of course play with friends, the young royals will also be expected to put some serious school work in.
For Prince George, he’s got a long list of subjects he’ll need to prepare for this school year. They include Literacy, Numeracy, Science, History and Geography, RS, French, PSHCE (Personal, Social, Health, and Economic Education), Art, Computing, Music, Swimming, Ballet, PE, and Games.
Prince George’s Homework Load
As far as his homework is concerned, Prince George will have to work on his weekly spelling list, optional online math activities and daily reading, which is about ten minutes per day. By the end of the school year, Prince George will be expected to become a fluent reader and to have completed most of his reading comprehension exercises.
As far as Princess Charlotte is concerned, her curriculum won’t be as heavy compared to her older brother’s. She will be starting out in the Reception program and will only be expected to complete some daily reading at home.

With so much going on in their school lives, it’s without a doubt that both Prince William and Kate Middleton will be there to help them with their homework while also shuffling them from one after school activity to another. They might be members of the royal family, but when it comes to being parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are no different than the rest of us!
