Dancing With The Stars Pro Peta Murgatroyd Shows Off Her Baby Bump At The Gym
Dancing With The Stars pro Peta Murgatroyd is not letting a little thing like a baby bump get in the way of staying fit during her pregnancy. Peta and her fiance, fellow Dancing With The Stars alum Maks Chmerkovskiy announced earlier this year, after Peta won the last season of DWTS that they were pregnant with baby number one. Since Peta’s pregnancy announcement, she has been keeping her fans updated via social media.
This week Murgatroyd posted some photos and videos of herself, and her baby bump at the gym. She has also been encouraging mom’s-to-‘be to hit the gym and work out during their pregnancies. In one video Peta is doing some weight-lifting, she captioned the video, “Mommy workout game strong. Battling this water retention is no joke LOL. Try these super simple exercises and feel amazing and accomplished like me afterwards.”
I am loving keeping fit whilst I’m pregnant. I’m 20 weeks and although I could sit on the couch watching TV all day, I have to get up and keep moving! To me it’s imperative for women to have an active pregnancy. It’s better for your well being and it’s great for your baby (within the limits your doctor has given you of course) Everyone will have an opinion about this, and that’s ok, but until I’m too big that I can’t move, I will be doing some sort of exercise each day. Believe me, it’s not easy, I’m not used to this body I have at the moment, and I’m heavier than I have ever been. The parts @maksimc and I laugh about the most, are the fact that I have to roll out of bed (I don’t want to squish the baby🙈), I use my hands to push myself off the couch and he has to boost my butt out of his low car 😂 Ladies, your health is everything and we have to laugh 😉 @royalpersonaltraining @shahinsafae
Time is flying! It seems like just yesterday that Peta and Maks announced they had a baby on the way. Now, the Dancing With The Stars champ is already 20 weeks along!. In another video of her working out at the gym, Peta explained, “I’m 20 weeks and although I could sit on the couch watching TV all day, I have to get up and keep moving!
