‘Dawson’s Creek’ alum Busy Philipps took to Instagram this week to share an adorable photo she snapped while she was grocery shopping with her younger daughter Cricket. Busy Philipps and her husband, Hollywood screenwriter Marc Silverstein, have two adorable daughters together. Cricket Pearl Silverstein was born in 2013, and her older sister Birdie Leigh Silverstein was born in 2008.
Busy posted a super cute photo of Cricket grocery shopping with her at Gelson’s grocery store. In the picture the happy 3 year old is pushing her own tiny shopping cart full of groceries as she walks down the aisle with her proud mom. The actress captioned the snapshot, “I know I’ve posted a similar picture before but I seriously love the tiny carts at gelson’s! I get shopping done and she feels like she’s playing grocery store! Genius!”
A lot of shopping centers now offer the tiny carts like the one that Cricket is pushing, and can we all just take a moment to recognize how healthy Cricket’s groceries are! The tiny kid-sized shopping carts really are a lifesaver when you are trying to grab some groceries with a toddler in tow. They love getting involved and feeling like they are helping out, and let’s be honest, it’s much nicer than having them sitting in your shopping cart and squishing the bread and eggs. The only down side is you definitely want to inspect their cart before you head to the checkout lane…kids have a sneaky way of filling their tiny carts with treats when you aren’t looking!
