Hilary Duff and Ex-Husband Mike Comrie’s Family Photo Celebrates Luca Cruz’s Birthday

It warms our hearts to see Hilary Duff and her ex-husband, Mike Comrie’s, family photo. The cute celebrity pic celebrates their son’s birthday. Luca Cruz turned 4-years-old, and the family looks incredibly happy.

The NHL player and the blonde actress shared the family photo of Luca laughing as his celebrity mom and dad smile. Duff captioned the photo, “We are so proud of this boy!” Hilary also shared an image of the blue-eyed boy looking adorable at the park. The ‘Younger’ star wrote, “You…are magic my little big boy. Happy 4th birthday. My heart just explodes for you.” The message was accented with plenty of kissy emojis.

It’s amazing to see this great example of co-parenting. Divorce is never easy and making a broken relationship work under a family circumstance can be tough. Hilary and Mike appear to have found a way that works for their family. The couple split in 2014, officially divorcing in February of 2016. Reps stated the couple still manage to be “best friends” despite the breakup. They have even managed to vacation together as a family and Duff has explained that, “We are a unit and we’re going to be a unit for the rest of our lives.”
