Emilie Kiser Announces Pregnancy After Tragic Loss of Son Trigg

Emilie Kiser hit the headlines just over a year ago when her son, Trigg Kiser, 3, suffered an unfortunate accident and drowned in their home swimming pool. This week, the news arrived that Emilie and her husband, Brady Kiser, expect another baby.

The Pregnancy Announcement

The news that the influencer expects another baby arrived via social media. When People magazine saw the news, the outlet cited her as saying:

We are so grateful and excited to share that we will be welcoming another baby into our family…This news feels very surreal and has already been such a bright light to us during some of our darkest days.

What seems so surprising is that she posted about expecting another baby. Remember, Emilie Kiser took a lot of heat for sharing videos that showed their pool had no fence or safety features.

At one stage, Brady Kiser also got heavily slammed when he was being looked at for failing to keep an eye on Trigg. If you don’t know, the charges against him were dropped after an investigation, per Fox News.

Viewers React

In the comments section of the Instagram post by Emilie, plenty of people rushed to congratulate the couple. Trigg’s little brother Teddy won’t be an only child anymore. After Trigg passed away, some videos revealed him meeting his little brother, which brought many tears to internet users.

Mostly, the reactions about the pregnancy news seemed kind and good. One follower told Emilie, “so so happy for you em,” and others said much the same thing, along with “congrats.”

More folks talked about how Trigg might be watching over them from heaven, and others used the word “angel” to describe him.

New Advocacy

Before the loss of Trigg, Emilie became well known for posting videos about being a mom. As her son died so tragically, it might interest you to know that these days, she uses her large following to advocate for pool safety.

In another article by Mashable, the fact that she talks about pools, fences, swimming lessons and more, keeps her influencer level high. But you won’t  see her little boy, Teddy as a main feature these days.

During the aftermath of the tragic loss of Trigg, we reported that Emilie could hardly bear to talk about her late son. She retreated into privacy, fought for, and won a redaction filing on the reporting of her son. Plus, she  survived her husband being under suspicion of careless parenting. 

Perhaps that’s why very few negative comments crept into her Instagram post. Some people posted crying faces.

Perhaps those reactions came after she wrote, “This baby has already brought so much hope and joy into our home.”
