Melissa McCarthy Picks Up Halloween Supplies

Melissa McCarthy Stops By Jo-Ann Fabrics With Her Daughters

Melissa McCarthy was photographed stopping by Jo-Ann Fabrics to pick up Halloween supplies with her daughter Vivian & Georgette in Sherman Oaks, CA on Sunday (Oct. 25).

The Mike & Molly actress looked stylish in a oversized cardigan, a black shirt and animal prints tights with studded sneakers. She carried bags from the store while her daughter’s walked besides her.

McCarthy who recently lost about 50 pounds has started her own plus-sized clothing line.

“I can’t remember the exact percentage, but something like at least 60 percent of women are a size 14. And I find it incredibly bizarre that we’ve taken the biggest grouping of people and we’re saying, ‘Oh, I don’t want your business,” she explains about her decision to create her clothing line Seven7. “It’s like opening a restaurant and saying, ‘But we’re not going to serve food to hungry people. You can’t come in if you want to eat. Are you super-full? Then come on in.’ If that’s your biggest portion of clients, in what business would you ever take them and remove them from the equation? Is it so displeasing to you, that you’ve removed your largest group of customers? I find that just perplexing.”

Her clothing line can be found on HSN. She hopes to have it in stores nationwide within the next five years.
