Celebrate Independence Day With Patriotic Marshmallow Pops

Patriotic Marshmallow Pops - July 4th

Celebrate Independence Day (Fourth of July) with these festive Patriotic Marsmallow Pops. Is there any tastier way to get the kids excited for the national holiday?

Adorned with blue chocolate, patriotic stars and sprinkles, these pop are not only easy to make but are tasty too!

Ingredients

12 oz. Wilton blue chocolate candy melts
12 large marshmallows
12 candy sticks (located with the Wilton items at major retailers)
Patriotic sprinkles
2-3 glasses to stand the marshmallows up in after they are dipped

Directions

#1. In a microwave safe dish melt the Wilton candy melts in 30 second increments. Stir after every 30 seconds and continue to microwave until melted. Let cool 2-3 minutes before dipping the marshmallows.

#2. While the chocolate is cooling place a stick into the bottom of each marshmallow.

#3. Dip each marshmallow into the chocolate letting the excess chocolate drip back into the dish. Use a small spoon to help cover the marshmallow in chocolate if needed. Once it is completely coated stand it up in a glass to let set. Every 1-2 marshmallows you dip, sprinkle with Patriotic sprinkles before the chocolate sets. Repeat this process with the rest of your marshmallows.

#4. Once all the marshmallows are dipped and sprinkled place in the fridge for about 30 minutes to completely set.
