Kid-Friendly Resorts: Top Four Places To Enjoy A Family Vacation

With more and more resorts deciding to cater only to adults, it can be hard to find kid-friendly resorts to enjoy with the whole family. You don’t need to worry though; there are plenty of great resorts you can visit with the kids in tow. The key is to do your homework ahead of time and ask the right questions. Here are several that you can start with:

Beaches

Beaches is the kid-friendly alternative to Sandals resorts. Owned by the same company, Beaches resorts provide luxury amenities at affordable prices. Adults can enjoy time at the spa or working on their golf game while the kids relax in the pool or play Xbox with other kids at the resort. There are nightclubs and romantic restaurants for you to enjoy, and arcades and entertainment for the little ones. Since the resorts are in tropical locations, you and the whole family can enjoy fun activities like scuba diving and swimming in the crystal-clear waters surrounding the area. Currently, you can find Beaches resorts in Jamaica and Turks & Caicos.

Disney World Resorts

Disney World has numerous options for kid-friendly resorts. Stay in a cabin at the Disney Fort Wilderness resort area for an adventure-themed trip, or stay at the Disney Boardwalk Inn for a fun carnival theme. Some Disney resorts offer deluxe villas, while others feature Disney character-inspired rooms for the aspiring princess or fearless knight. Restaurants, swimming pools, nightlife, and other forms of entertainment are available at these resorts, and of course, the Magic Kingdom itself is just a few minutes away. Prices range from around $120 per night to $500 per night.

Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel

While the Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel isn’t a resort entirely, it is part of the Knott’s Berry Farm theme park, and it offers some great perks that you won’t find at other hotels in the area. Camp Snoopy-themed hotel rooms help to keep the kids excited throughout your trip, and the hotel boasts heated pools, tennis courts, and basketball courts as well as daily visits from Snoopy himself. The Amber Waves restaurant features an all-you-can eat breakfast buffet, dinner specials, and a full bar. Hop over to the theme park after you’ve had your breakfast for all-day adventures and excitement.

MGM Grand Las Vegas

While you might not think of the casinos in Las Vegas as resorts, they are definitely all-inclusive complexes. You can spend an entire week in Vegas without leaving your casino and still get to have fun doing lots of different activities. If you want to visit Vegas with the kids, a stay at the MGM Grand is a great option. This casino/hotel complex boasts an arcade, a habitat with real lions, and a Rainforest Café. The Grand Pool complex has five different swimming pools, a lazy river, and waterslides. Kids can definitely have just as much fun as adults at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Kid-friendly resorts aren’t hard to find if you know where to look. Book your trip today and let the whole family enjoy the resort experience.

REALLY? I would never have thought of the MGM Grand. That’s awesome! How often do I want to go to Vegas? Like yearly because I LOVE it there. I had no clue there was a family friendly section or appeal at the MGM Grand. Now I will search it out next time I want to go there. Thanks!

I’ve been to all but Knott’s Berry. Sounds like I have to add it to our list of places to go!
