Happy Mother’s Day With Special Quotes
Happy Mother’s Day!
It’s hard to fully understand the love of a mother till you become one yourself. Before giving birth to my daughter, Ava, I thought I knew what love was, but that all changed the moment I saw her face. That’s not say, I don’t love my husband, but motherhood is a totally different type of love. I felt like a closed area of my heart had come to life.
There truly is no greater love than that of a mother. There is nothing I wouldn’t do for my daughter. That’s why Mother’s Day is a perfect day to remind our moms just how important they are to us. My mom has always been the constant in my life. She is the one person that I can always depend on. She is not only my mom, but my closest friend.
Here are some of my quotes to remind you how wonderful moms are:
“But there’s a story behind everything. How a picture got on a wall. How a scar got on your face. Sometimes the stories are simple, and sometimes they are hard and heartbreaking. But behind all your stories is always your mother’s story, because hers is where yours begin.” – Mitch Albom
“The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new. “ – Rajneesh
When you are a mother, you are never really alone in your thoughts. A mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child. – Sophia Loren
“Mothers and daughters are closest, when daughters become mothers.” – Unknown
“There is only one pretty child in the world, and every mother has it.” – Chinese Proverb
“The natural state of motherhood is unselfishness. When you become a mother, you are no longer the center of your own universe. You relinquish that position to your children.” – Jessica Lange
“A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts.” – Washington Irving
“Motherhood: All love begins and ends there.” – Robert Browning
“There’s no way to be a perfect mother and a million ways to be a good one” – Jill Churchill
