Giuliana Rancic loves motherhood!

The new mom sat down with Parade magazine to open up about how her life has changed since becoming a mother.

When it comes to motherhood the E! TV Host says it is amazing and even better than she expected.

“It’s awesome. I knew it was going to be great, especially because we worked so hard at having a baby and we wanted a baby so bad, but it’s even better than I expected. He’s really opening his eyes now, and when he opens his eyes and stares at you for ten minutes at a time while you’re feeding him, you just realize why there’s that mother-son bond and I say to myself: ‘How am I ever going to say no to this kid!’ He’s got me. It’s everything I had hoped for and more,” she gushed.

The lack of sleep that comes with being a parent to a newborn is not bugging her.

“I love my sleep. I feel very strongly about getting eight hours of sleep a night. I think that it keeps you healthy and sane, but I wondered how people function when they have to get up at all hours of the night. But you just do it. You function because you enjoy doing it. I think the biggest surprise is probably enjoying those overnight feedings. I love them and look forward to them because I get to spend time with the baby,” she told.

Rancic definitely understands how mother feel conflicted when it comes to balancing work and motherhood.

“I see why so many moms get conflicted. Can you have your career and also feel like you’re there for your child? I’m trying to figure that all out. I can see how mothers are conflicted now. I definitely emphasize more a working mom than I ever did before, and I understand stay-at-home moms more than I ever did before because there is such a part of you that just wants to stay at home with the baby and raise kids, but you’re conflicted because you love you’re career. It’s tough and something you have to think about,” she added.
