Alvin & The Chipmuncks Honored With a “Paw-Print” Ceremony
After fifty years of providing laughs and smiles to young children, Alvin and the Chipmunks were honored with a “paw-print” ceremony. The ceremony was held at the world famous Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Tuesday. It’s the first official hand and footprint ceremony honoring an animated character since Donald Duck in 1984.
The ceremony comes before the release of their third movie, Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked. In the movie, Alvin and the Chipmunks accidentally go overboard and end up marooned in a tropical paradise. There they discover their new turf is not as deserted as it seems. The movie hits theaters December 16th, 2011.
I remember loving them when I was young 🙂
Will you be taking your kids to see this movie?
