The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Kyle Declares War on Victor as Adam Breaks Down Again

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) suffered terribly in the last week. His parents were nearly killed by Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk), with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) surviving two murder attempts.
Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) ran down Patty in the bowels of Genoa City Memorial Hospital. She was a hero for not letting Jack’s attempted murder escape, as Patty was attempting to.
However, as has been true of many people across the daytime years, Diane paid a price for stopping this villain. Patty plunged a syringe filled with digitalis into Diane’s neck.
Genoa City Memorial Hospital Drama
Thankfully for Diane, she was already in a hospital. Kyle carried his mother from the point of her attack to a nurse.
A rapid diagnosis allowed the digitalis to be countered before the intended heart attack resulted. Diane’s life was saved swiftly because of Kyle’s adrenaline-fueled efforts and because they were in a medical facility.
To think that Patty was able to steal scrubs, so she could disguise herself as a nurse, was plausible. Those garments might have been stolen at the hospital or could have been purchased at a medical supply store.
Viewers suspended regarding the digitalis angle. They were asked to believe that Patty somehow knew that drug’s effects and was able to obtain it and a syringe. Yet, those fantastical elements pushed the plot.
The Revenge Target Is Victor Newman
Kyle isn’t willing to forgive, and he can’t forget. Jack chose to veer away from that mindset years ago, but his son has chosen to put the pedal down.
Understandably, Kyle would be outraged that Victor brought Patty back to town. She’s the specific reason why his parents nearly died.
However, seeking revenge against Victor would yield a response in what would continue the drama Jack and Diane don’t need. Starting with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), Kyle is seeking a partner who loathes the Moustache.

Billy isn’t expected to sign on, with Patty potentially being Kyle’s fallback option. Yet, that would mean that she recognizes that Victor, not Diane, is the reason why life inside a jail cell has restarted.
Adam Newman Plays The Violin
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) made what he thought was a good pitch. Along with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), they wanted to take Arabesque off Victor’s hands and rebuild it.
Victor told his second-born son that it wasn’t possible and then revealed that he’d given it to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Adam, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) were floored.
It was a bit surprising to see Adam pull the violin out and begin playing his old black sheep tune. His father, siblings, and the audience assumed he was past that childish rant.
Here’s hoping that whatever Victor’s spot for Adam in the reclaimed Newman Enterprises averts a replay of Grossman’s character going dark. The audience has seen that show before, with the redeemed version of Adam being right for modern times.
