The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Brooke and Electra Left Furious After Fashion War Fallout
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Logan took it to Forrester Creations in another sneak attack that succeeded. The Forrester family is angry because Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) has beaten them twice in a matter of months.
It was a mistake to dismiss Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) venture with Logan as a one-time occurrence. While Hope Logan Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) jump from Forrester Creations wasn’t one she initiated, as Eric did, the results sting just the same.
It can be argued at this early stage of the fallout that Hope’s move is proving more damaging than Eric’s. He quickly reversed course and returned to the company he co-founded. That led the Forresters to believe they could capitalize on the buzz he generated for Logan and use it for his next line.
Logan Is Nowhere Without Eric Forrester
Where would Katie be if Eric hadn’t approached her, intending to be her mentor?
As devoted viewers know, he went well beyond Katie’s wildest daytime dreams when he took the designs he created and gave them to Logan. He was the reason why Spencer Publications’ newest division made a massive splash in the rag trade.
But Eric only pursued Katie and commiserated with her because he felt she was an empathetic figure. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) disregarded the contributions she made across a decade as its public relations head, and she opted to leave the company.
McCook’s character was forced to retire because Ridge decided work was too hazardous to his father’s health. Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) agreed, and that was the straw that broke the soapy camel’s back.
Can Forrester Creations Withstand Stress Tests?
Losing Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) was no big deal. The young man has talent, but FC saw its bench as deep. Plus, he wasn’t a Forrester.
Eric returned to the fold, and the plan was to use his Couture line to reclaim FC’s presumed place with the fashion industry leaders. But that line’s rollout has been paused because of Hope’s stunning appearance at Logan.
Electra Forrester’s (Laneya Grace) jewelry line is being shelved because Ridge says the company has to focus on Eric’s line. Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) warning about FC committing so much capital to Eric’s comeback was wise, but wasn’t heeded.
FC probably isn’t nearing imminent bankruptcy, but it needs to quickly recalibrate and then score hard whenever Eric’s line is released. Meanwhile, Logan will keep making money.
Brooke Logan Forrester Loses Power
It took years for Brooke to become the matriarch of the Forrester family. But she is that, and assumed her voice also ruled the connected Logan family.
But the Forresters and Logans aren’t the Spencers, as Brooke knew all along. Her underestimation and Ridge’s multiple missteps have put FC in a bad spot, and blaming Katie, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), Hope, and whoever else won’t change reality.
Brooke’s loss of power is based on her choices. Pointing her finger at others, meaning Katie and Hope, will only make matters worse and allow Logan to rise faster than it already has in such a short span of time.
