’Little People, Big World’s’ Jacob Roloff is swinging into politics, and he’s got his wife Isabel right behind him.
The reality TV star started getting increasingly involved in civic matters and local affairs to build his repertoire and sharpen his public speaking skills. He may have spent a lifetime in front of the cameras, but we all know politics is a different game, so it may be too early to tell whether this is a long-term and sustainable career path for him.
Jacob Roloff Transitions From Farm Boy To Politician
Jacob Roloff’s decision to divert attention from the farm to engage in city council meetings has been met with some skepticism from fans. Roloff, of course, is not the first reality TV star to venture into politics.
As far as politics goes, Jacob is quickly garnering supporters with his eloquence and passion for local causes.
This has surprised some fans. However, the most shocked of everyone might just be his wife. “Amidst the busy season on the farm, I have been quietly watching from the sidelines as Jacob gets more and more involved in local politics,” she wrote.
She admitted that she was surprised at the way he musters the confidence to stand on stage and speak so beautifully. The reason for this is that she remembers the shy young man he was when they were dating.
”Obviously, he’s been busier than ever, and it means less time for us, but I’m proud of the way he pursues his interests,” she added.
This turn to politics is coming after Jacob turned his back completely on the entertainment industry and concentrated on leading a quiet life with his growing family on the farm.
It’s been a decade since he left the family show, later professing that a deep sense of “disgust” had inspired the move. He has since shared the joys of living life untethered to production requirements and camera crews. In 2024, his elder brother Zach and his wife Tori followed in his footsteps and quit the family show as well.
Jacob’s decision to enter politics comes after ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ alum Mauricio Umansky revealed his own intentions to turn his energy and drive towards politics.
