The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Dylan Makes Surprising Choice & Remy Receives Second Chance?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that the unexpected is always welcomed. So, Melissa Dylan’s (Sydney Bullock) surprising reveal to her renewed best friend was smart and reduces the leverage her annoying cousin has over her.
It’s not that Remy Price (Christian Weissman) will disappear or stop asking for help. But he lost the ability to pressure Dylan into doing what he asked under threat of Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) learning the truth.
Electra was wronged by Remy, whom she thought was her friend. He was obsessed with her, which led to the deep fakes. But viewers also know that his interest in her so-called friendship doesn’t make a lot of sense.
Was Electra Forrester Remy Price’s Main Focus?
Remy wasn’t interested in Electra romantically, like RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) is. Instead, Weissman’s character must have been someone with few friends during the period before he and Electra were written into the show.
That part of their connected backstories is a bit murky. While explanations have been offered, it has felt a bit like the plot was freelanced or stretched to create a villain character in Remy.
Meanwhile, poor soul Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) seems primed to have his life destabilized by Remy once again. Considering the lack of a strong bond with his only known family member, Melissa, and not being able to reconcile with his claimed friend, Electra, Remy will likely refocus on Deke.
Electra Forrester Needed This Win
Electra was very specific. She told Melissa that what happened in the past couldn’t repeat itself, and to her credit, it didn’t.

Melissa was torn after Remy visited her on more than one occasion at work. Those instances put her job at risk. But he’s still as reckless as ever and didn’t grasp what the bad spot he was putting his cousin in.
Being family doesn’t give someone a license to upset their career based on whatever drama is happening. Remy doesn’t see it that way and projects envy.
He told Melissa that she’s doing well in her career, and he isn’t. Well, so what?
Someone with Remy’s personality type is, in effect, immature. He needs to grow up, be a man, take his knocks, and work to earn a living rather than grift status off his cousin.
Is Remy Price Repeating History?
It could be that Weissman is working on a redemptive storyline. Ideally, Remy would realize that he’s his own worst enemy and stop blaming others for the problems he’s created.
An uplifting, rather than dark or downbeat story, would be another surprise and one that the audience would accept if it’s plausible and is played out over the course of months, rather than a quick-fix turnabout.
Remy is at least trying to pursue a career dream and has abided by Deke’s wishes to give him space. Maybe Remy can build off that modest start and work toward redemption. If not, viewers are witnessing him repeat history.
