The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Dylan Makes Avoidable Mistake & Electra Sets Herself Up Again

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) didn’t learn her lesson. She had the perfect opportunity to prove to her claimed best friend that the future can be better and blew it.

There’s still time for Melissa to tell Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) that Remy Price (Christian Weissman) is her cousin.

But unless that happens in the next few days, Melissa is setting herself up for personal and career ruin.

Meanwhile, Remy can be best described as a loose cannon. He can’t be trusted and has demonstrated no capacity to read the soapy room.

Remy Price Has No Self Control

Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) certainly read the room, and he decided to distance himself from Remy. That was smart, but time will tell if Remy is able to make inroads.

Remy is also trying to work on reestablishing his prospects of working in the fashion world. However, it’s possible that Logan could take a chance on Remy if some rapprochement happens.

In that instance, Deke could lobby for Weissman’s character to be given something to do at Katie Logan Spencer’s (Heather Tom) upstart fashion house.

Showing no sense of balance and not caring if he puts his cousin’s career at risk, showing up at Forrester Creations in a wig and later a delivery guy getup was reckless.

Melissa was naturally upset and made him promise to stay away from her at work, which left the possibility open that he would visit at her newly rented apartment and keep trying to guilt-trip her into helping him.

Melissa Dylan Believes She Can Manage This Problem

Remy’s deep fakes were abhorrent. His repeated claims of feeling horrible and then saying he’s not that person anymore ring hollow.

Melissa recognizes that Remy represents a major threat to her recent rebound. She could have lost any chance at making it in Los Angeles, California.

But Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) didn’t forget the horror Melissa endured at Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) hands and gave her a job.

Daphne Walton (Murielle Hilaire) took a quick liking to Melissa, which led to a near instant promotion. Being Daphne’s assistant is a great opportunity that Melissa wants to make the most of, but she’s not being truly grateful.

Electra Forrester Wants To Trust Again

Credit to Electra for living a good life. She wanted to forgive Melissa and willed herself to make that happen.

Viewers would think that Melissa would simply tell Electra that Remy reappeared and contacted her.

Coming clean would reaffirm that she’s sincere about their restored friendship and that she knows what happened in the recent past with Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) can’t be repeated in a different form.

But withholding the connection with Remy is bound to be revealed at some point, likely by this summer. At that time, Electra will be enraged, and so will the Forrester family.

That avoidable outcome can still be prevented if Melissa takes a moment and does what’s right. But devoted daytime fans probably feel that’s not the choice Bullock’s aspiring character will make.
