General Hospital Spoilers: Laura’s Attraction To Ezra Affects Decision Making

General Hospital spoilers imply that Laura Collins’s (Genie Francis) view of Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) has done a 180 in recent weeks.

The two were initially rivals, once going head-to-head in the town’s race for mayor, but have recently bonded, becoming allies and friends.

Still, is Laura also attracted to Ezra? Could this affect her decision-making as mayor of Port Charles and her mission to bring down Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota)?

General Hospital spoilers remind fans that when Patrick Scott Lewis temporarily replaced Daniel Cosgrove as Ezra in March of this year, viewers (and Laura) saw a different side to the city councilman.

It was implied that much like Laura, Ezra wasn’t working for Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) because he wanted to. Rather, he “had” to; so, it sounds like Sidwell may also have dirt on Ezra.

Fast forward to his drunken debacle at the Brown Dog bar, instead of taking a video to blackmail him, Laura used that footage to show Ezra some tough love to help him change.

They’ve since aligned to see if they can bring Sidwell down, and Laura has promised not to expose the damaging video of Ezra to the media.

Still, with her husband all the way up in Ireland, with an unclear date of when he’s returning, is Laura playing with fire by getting close to Ezra?

Does Laura Have A Crush?

Is Laura attracted to Ezra? Certainly, she was repulsed by his arrogance and disgusting behavior, but now that he’s shown a softer and more vulnerable side, could she find herself “crushing” on her colleague? Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) is so far away, and because she has so much time on her hands, she may fill that with Ezra, especially if they start strategizing!

Still, if push comes to shove, could this newfound closeness – and attraction – to Ezra compromise her duties as mayor? Could it compromise her mission to bring Sidwell down?
