The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Newman Family Lives And So Does Matt?

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) relayed the news to his awaiting significant other, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). His brother, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), and Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) were all alive.

As Chelsea curtly told Riza Thompson (Tina Casciani), she and Adam don’t need a ring on their fingers to prove anything to anyone. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) needs to prove that he’s serious about getting rehab to deal with the effects of the illicit drugs Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) put in his path.

Sienna Bacall’s (Tamara Braun) entry into Adam’s and Chelsea’s suite in Las Vegas, Nevada, was surely dramatic. She looked shocked, was full of blood, claimed Matt was dead, and that she killed him. What?

Would Roger Howarth’s Exit Be Anticlimactic?

This section header question is just one that is apt. It’s a fair one to ask based on this actor’s stature in daytime, the specific character he plays or played, and the history of a villain who’s tormented Sharon and Nick for more than three decades.

Howarth’s addition, as the recast of this character, has been truly terrific. The man knows how to act and elicit a range of emotions from the audience merely through facial movements. That alone marks him as great.

Matt is a heinous guy. He has no soul, loves to inflict pain, and lives to apply payback revenge against the Newmans. So, it seems hard to believe that the writing staff would have killed him off without a real-time sendoff or to have done that by having a side character, though Sienna’s importance is growing, do it.

Adam Newman And Chelsea Lawson Leave Town

Nick, Sharon, Noah, and Adam survived an abandoned gas station explosion and were only saved through the strenuous efforts of Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) rescue team. So, that happens, Nick isn’t kept in the hospital for more than a few hours, and Adam and Chelsea are flying back to Genoa City, Wisconsin?

The above does square with logic. Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) does need his parents, but he could have survived until Adam and Chelsea finished helping those they’ve left behind.

Fans can assume that Riza will remain a key part of this storyline, while Nick, Sharon, and Noah take center stage, along with Sienna. Sharon, Sienna, and Riza could form a trio of wronged ladies who bring justice to Matt once and for all.

Matt Clark Is Dead In Vegas?

Viewers last saw Matt when he impulsed into pressing a digital button that triggered a remote explosion. That happened while he was having a most unexpected conversation.

The audience suspended disbelief when seeing Sienna’s eyes catch a glimpse of something in her rear-view mirror. It was Matt’s vehicle. Soon thereafter, they saw Sienna enter Matt’s car while he was contemplating what he then completed, the perceived explosive end of the Newman clan.

Sienna offered herself to Matt in exchange for allowing the Newmans to live. Matt agreed and then hit the button, with viewers initially being unaware of what happened to the foursome, Sienna, or Matt.

The claim that Matt died could be the truth or Sienna telling everyone a lie as part of her agreement with her estranged husband. But even if that’s true, he clearly could double-cross her.

Here’s hoping that fans haven’t seen the last of Matt, even with that meaning that the Newmans, Sienna, and Riza would still be in serious jeopardy. The audience deserves a more fitting conclusion to this gripping tale.
