The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Jack and Nikki Create A Brilliant Plan – Victor And Diane Respond?

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) are launching an aggressive counterattack. They love their spouses and plan to make them believe that their marriages are over and that a revenge rebound is ahead.
Genoa City, Wisconsin, is a minor metropolis but also a small world. As such, Jack has been married to Nikki and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters), as has Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
The rift between both couples has its origin in Victor’s bravado. He assumed that taking control of the artificial intelligence program that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) initially developed would allow him to amass more power. Instead, it cost him his company and led to him kicking Nikki off the Ranch.
Phyllis Summers’ World Is Crumbling
Jack and Nikki are trying to benefit from Victor’s distraction. They know that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has taken full control of Newman Enterprises.
However, viewers recently saw Victor and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) issue an ultimatum to her. Victoria gave a stack of printed emails to Phyllis that were fabricated yet hard for her to disprove.
The gist of their threat involves the created paper trail supposedly proving that Phyllis committed illegal acts when seizing Newman Enterprises. She can either surrender it or face legal action, which means that Victor won’t be interested, or focused, on his marriage. That gives Nikki a great opportunity.

Diane Jenkins Abbott Can’t Get Over It
Diane appeared to be playing a game with Jack against Victor. But Jack’s new plan seems to prove otherwise.
Walters’ character told Victor that he was right about Jack’s degraded character. She did so in front of her husband at the GC Athletic Club, with the intended outrage effect resulting.
Jack couldn’t believe that Diane had thought herself into such a dark corner that she would side with the Moustache against him. That helped to convince Bergman’s character that a dire choice had to be made, and so the revenge ruse was hatched.
Nikki Newman Won’t Give Up On Love
Nikki is hurt, and she’s living in a suite near Diane at the GCAC. That is definitely not where she anticipated being when the mess with Newman Enterprises began.
So, teaming with Jack to shock Victor to his senses is understandable. But it also represents a massive risk because viewers recall how her husband responded to Jack overdosing on illicit substances to break her bond with alcohol.
Victor has cited that perceived betrayal time and again. That means Nikki must craft a plan that produces a measured and exact impact on Victor, which produces the type of jealous response she and Jack expect. Alternatively, Victor and Diane could play along or engage in a revived romance that would shock everyone in daytime.
