The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Matt Doomed as Nick and Adam Form Shocking Alliance

The Young and The Restless: Matt Clark (Roger Howarth)

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) remains a major problem. It could prove deadly for multiple people.

Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) life is in the greatest peril at this moment in the plot. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) also took a major blow to the back of his head and shook it off, but he could be suffering from at least a concussion.

It seems unlikely that the writing staff is in the process of killing off one or both of the Newman brothers. But there’s no denying that their predicament was bad and is getting worse.

Leaving Home Turf And Going To Nevada

Matt was in Genoa City, Wisconsin, and the Newman family captured him. However, Nick was talked out of delivering the type of justice he felt was needed to permanently end Matt’s reign of torture.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) persuaded his oldest son to let him handle Matt. That process began with Nick releasing Matt from the trunk of his car, where he intended to keep him while traveling into a remote area outside of GC.

Nick was convinced Matt would get away with it unless his father or Victor’s so-called security team finished the job he started. Sure enough, Victor turned Matt over to the authorities, and a seemingly misguided judge released him due to a lack of hard evidence.

Sharon Newman And Her Son To The Rescue?

Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is the woman Matt targeted more than three decades ago. His brutal attack altered the course of her life and positioned Nick as the man who repeatedly rescued her.

The plot appears to be shaping up differently this time around. Nick needed Sharon’s help, so she flew to Las Vegas, Nevada, to help him.

The Young and The Restless: Sharon Newman (Sharon Case)

Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) accompanied his mother. His first meeting with Matt proved to be a trap, as the man who presented himself as Mitch Bacall in London, England, wasn’t interested in helping to expand Noah’s nightclub business.

It will be interesting to see if Matt is able to capture Sharon and Noah. If so, he would have four members of the family in hand and gain major leverage with Victor, who might be forced to meet whatever demand he made.

Matt Clark Can’t Win This Game

Matt is so arrogant because of what’s happened in his life. Despite the crimes he’s committed and, more recently, having been involved in major illegal substance facilitation, he’s not been convicted and jailed.

He’s full of himself because Matt has evaded the legal system for such a long time. Devoted viewers know that he also faked his death, and that allowed him to trick Noah and set The Shadow Room bait.

Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) deserves to be involved in the climax of this storyline, with that development likely coming next. Possibly, a combination of her, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), and Riza Thompson (Tina Casciani) rescues the Newmans and ends Matt’s terrible reign.

  1. […] Casciani’s character clearly wants Adam and appeared to believe that she could be with him as their partnership was reestablished. Now, with all cards on the table and in using that type of soapy cliché, Riza sees that Chelsea is someone Adam cares about but might be pried from if enough pressure is applied. […]
