The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Victoria Stands With Victor – But His Next Move Brings Trouble

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is making it known that she supports her father’s methods.
While the break between Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) has caused great angst, that’s another item that’s been compartmentalized.
The loss of Newman Enterprises was totally unexpected. The fact that two perceived lightweights, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), stole Newman Enterprises merely adds to Victor’s desire to inflict pain upon them.
However, the Moustache created an unnecessary problem. He alienated his wife, which is impacting the chances of getting the family business back.
Jack Abbott Is Fully Backed Now
Victor created a self-fulfilling prophecy. He believed Nikki was backing his longtime rival, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), when she wasn’t.
But after mercilessly lambasting his wife, Victor kicked Thomas Scott’s character off the Ranch. That put Nikki in a difficult position and caused unnecessary embarrassment for her with the family.
So, she was fully open to Jack’s plight. Not agreeing with Victor’s methods was natural. But Victor’s forced marital split forced Nikki to take Jack’s side and pledge to help him teach her husband a lesson.
Victoria Newman Understands Business Calculations
Victoria is her father’s namesake. Like him, she’s also shrewd.
Victor demands loyalty and uses the evidence of it, especially at times of crisis, to plot a strategy. He has the backing of his sons, Abby Newman Winters (Melissa Ordway) isn’t causing him any issues currently, and then there is Victoria.
She believes that he needs to reclaim the family business using any means necessary. Like Victor, an ends-justifying-the-means approach is okay because of the calamity that resulted in Phyllis owning Newman Enterprises.
Following Victor’s historically cunning path, Victoria should come out on top when he wrests control from Phyllis. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will likely be recovering from his illegal substance addiction after he and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) handle Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) in the near future.

Adam will remain his father’s fixer and probable media henchman once a new version of Newman Media is restored. Victoria should become Victor’s right hand and heir apparent. That’s her endgame.
Victor Newman Needs A Strong Ally
Adam agreed to help Nick handle Matt. Victor supported and respected that choice because Nick needed backing and isn’t in his right mind, a plot point that is being neglected to further connect storylines.
But Adam’s decision took him off the Genoa City, Wisconsin, chessboard. Nikki was thrown out of the game. So, she’s no longer the queen.
Victoria is arguably Victor’s favored child. She hasn’t always held that title, but will proudly wear it as long as she can continue to rationalize Victor’s amorality, which is one of his most persistent traits.
