The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Brooke Seeks Revenge as Electra Gathers Damaging Evidence

The Bold and The Beautiful: Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang)

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) believed she was looking out for her youngest sister. But Katie Logan Spencer’s (Heather Tom) open betrayal upended any chance of reconciliation late this winter.

Spring will begin with Brooke waging open war on Logan, the company name that enrages Lang’s character. That, along with the perceived manipulation of Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) vulnerable state of mind and use of his supposedly stolen designs, establishes quite the juicy plot.

Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) was accused of coercing Katie into causing this trouble. But Brooke corrected Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) assertion, stating that her little sister knew exactly what she was doing.

Eric Forrester Overreacted To Slight

Hey, it was somewhat wrong that Ridge wanted to make his dad retire. But Brooke was on board with her nine-time husband’s feelings.

However, in the immediacy of retrospect, or as current cliches might go, let’s consider recency bias. This arguably pseudo-psychological term asserts that people are overly influenced by what has most recently happened. Really?

Eric recently had health issues. But he’s also had them in the past. It wasn’t wrong for Ridge and Brooke to believe, based on Eric’s entire health history and his age, that he was in danger of pushing himself too hard and having another crisis because of it.

One can say that Eric was far too sensitive, and that’s not because of his age. His creativity includes a lifelong check on what public perception is. That’s a main reason why he wanted to work, felt slighted when he was asked to retire, and did so because he needed the limelight’s glow to affirm his work.

Is the above assessment harsh?

Maybe. But it’s also a reasonable series of points to have made. With the recency bias of this section in mind, let’s look at the next.

Brooke Logan Forrester Harbors Grudge And Resentment

If anything, Brooke needs to consider why she’s behaved toward her sister as she has. Katie’s maiden name is Logan. She has every right to use her name, and Brooke has no moral leg to stand on. The legal leg is hollow as well.

Lang’s character appears to resent Katie wanting to create the next part of her career. Thinking that she needs to stay in her place at Forrester Creations is rightly recognized as demeaning.

And, Katie retains the right to always know that Brooke being with Bill many years ago was and will always be wrong. Brooke wants to label that period as the past in an attempt to deny Katie the ability to reference it. That means Brooke appears to want to forever avoid the consequences of her actions.

The Bold and The Beautiful: Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace)

Electra Forrester Was Right About Melissa Dylan

Some people have good instincts. The difference between Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) and her aunt, Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer), is honesty.

Yes, Ivy was correct in thinking that Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) attracts a lot of attention to himself, which was going to create continued problems for Electra. But Ivy used her instinct as justification for manipulating multiple lives.

In contrast, Electra had a feeling that Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) was in trouble. She warned her more than once, but that didn’t work.

But Electra restrained herself until Will admitted that he and Dylan had kissed. Electra was right about Dylan, but didn’t do what was wrong, like Ivy. How long it will take for Electra to learned that her aunt helped to create the drama that wrecked her life will remain worth the watch as spring blooms.
